Meet Talia… Total transparency here, this was our second time shooting together and we knew we had to nail it this time. During our first attempt, we decided to brave the cold weather and neither one of us were feeling the final images. Something was just off. Fast foward a few months later and we reconnected and decided on another park location, the weather had vastly improved and we were able to capture some great images.
Shooting portraits outdoors and on location are some of my favorite images to capture. When I get the opportunity to photograph amazing people and mix in a bit of nature, I absolutely cant refuse. Aly found me over on my Instagram and from the moment she reached out, we clicked. Check out some of our favorite images from her session. I have to commend her for her willingness to come out and brave the cold air.
Meet Annjeleka, a local socialite who preaches the message of body positivity. She approached me about wanting to shoot in a city setting and we decided that there was no better place in Tacoma than the area near the Museum of Glass in Downtown Tacoma. I think she absolutely delivered on that with this shoot. Check it out.
This post has been a long time coming, this was my first time meeting with Kayla, and you never know how if you're going to "click" with your photography subject or not. I gotta say, to this date shooting this set with Kayla is hands down my favorite session. A combination of awesome light, an amazing model-not model... lol, and well you get the picture. Check out her gorgeous shots for yourselves.
As a photographer here in Tacoma, well Pacific Northwest in general, we're bound to come across those rainy days. However, there are many great locations that provide a reprieve from the rain. On this rainy day, I had the opportunity to shoot with Kailey in Tacoma at the Wright Park Arboretum. Enjoy!
Shooting with Fauzia is always a treat. Did I mention that Fauzia is also in the running for Miss Africa Washington State 2016? I have to say that, this is definitely my first time shooting a possible pageant winner. This is makes for my working with Fauzia and hopefully we’ll shoot together more in the future
Jasmine and I decided to take her shoot to a warehouse in Downtown Tacoma. This particular location is quite possibly my favorite location to shoot in Tacoma.
Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a group of beautiful women in Boho styled clothing from the “Lindsey Collection,” by Lindsey Brooks. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see her wonderful creations firsthand I recommend that you head over to her site, www.slacksies.com and see what she has to offer.
The weather has been good to us here lately. I can’t say enough good things about today’s subject, Naomi. Naomi is punctual to say the least, its rare for a client to show up before me, so when I found out that Naomi had been ready for almost an hour before I arrived, I was uber surprised.
